KC-TECH Events is a subsidiary of KC-TECH Solutions Inc., a privately owned Ontario corporation operating since 2000. KC-TECH Events offers Mobile Disc Jockey & MC services as well as Audio/Video rentals & setup.

KC-TECH Events and KC-TECH Solutions Inc. are owned by Kelly Coughlin, a DJ/MC and Information Technology Consultant. Kelly Coughlin is 37 years old and has had a passion for music since the age of about 3, and has been collecting music from the age of 7. He has studied music theory at Carleton University, Digital Audio Recording and Production at Algonquin College, Project Management at Algonquin College and has recently graduated from the first Disc-Jockey program offered at the college level in Canada (also at Algonquin College). He speaks English, French, Italian and is world travelled, having spent the first 18 years of his life overseas growing up in the diplomatic environment. As a result of his childhood he has gained extensive knowledge and experience of various cultures and event protocol and has a unique perspective as a DJ/MC event coordinator. His passions include DJ'ing, music and technology in general and he manages to fit in the odd bit of Information Technology consulting in his spare time. He started DJ'ing in 2000 and over the years recognized the need for an Ottawa DJ firm that also doubled as an Events Management firm that offered cultured, eclectic and sophisticated DJ's with a music library that would put others to shame...so in 2009 "KC-TECH Events" was born.

Our DJ’s come from all walks of life, but all share a common theme: a passion for music. They are all “gear heads” and are very techno-savvy and they all have personality and charm. Our DJ’s are all well groomed and presentable and will go the extra mile to ensure your event proceeds without a hitch. We offer both male and female DJ/MC’s who specialize in various forms of music. We will ensure the right DJ is matched for your particular event.
